Our Fibrosis Protocol also does tremendously well in helping people recover from kidney diseases. It works so well for much of the same reasons other fibrosis diseases do. In this case, we will look at the kidneys.
There are two kidneys, each about the size of a fist, located at the bottom of the rib cage. These kidneys perform their life-sustaining job of filtering and returning to the bloodstream about 200 quarts of fluid every 24 hours. About two quarts are removed from the body in the form of urine, and about 198 quarts are recovered.
Each kidney contains about one million tiny filtering nephron units made up of blood vessels. These filters are called “glomeruli” and are attached to a tubule. When blood enters the glomerulus, it is filtered and chemicals and water are either added or removed as needed. This is divided into filter blood and the urine we excrete.
Causes of Kidney Disease
The two main causes of chronic kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure. Too high of a sugar level can damage the kidneys. High blood pressure against the walls of your blood vessels, of course, can cause tears and lead to chronic kidney disease.
In both cases, the kidneys are not able to filter the blood as well as they used to. Usually this damage happens slowly, over many years and is called chronic kidney disease. As more and more filtering units are damaged, the kidneys eventually are unable to maintain health.
Other conditions that affect the kidneys are:
Glomerulonephritis – a group of diseases that cause inflammation and damage to the kidney filtering glomeruli. Glomerulonephritis may happen suddenly, for example, after a strep throat, and the individual may get well again. However, the disease may develop slowly over several years and it may cause progressive loss of kidney function.
Inherited diseases – polycystic kidney disease is the most common inherited kidney disease. It is characterized by the formation of kidney cysts that enlarge over time and may cause serious kidney damage and even kidney failure.
Malformations – that occur as a baby develops in its mother’s womb. For example, a narrowing may occur that prevents normal outflow of urine and causes urine to flow back up to the kidney. This causes infections and may damage the kidneys.
Lupus – and other diseases that affect the body’s immune system.
Urinary infections – urinary tract infections occur when germs enter the urinary tract and cause pain and/or burning during urination and a more frequent need to urinate. These infections most often affect the bladder, but they sometimes spread to the kidneys, and they may cause fever and pain in your back. Repeated occurrences can cause inflammation and scarring.
Congenital diseases – may also affect the kidneys. These usually involve some problem that occurs in the urinary tract when a baby is developing in its mother’s womb. A valve-like mechanism between the bladder and ureter (urine tube) can fail to work properly and allows urine to back up to the kidneys, causing infections and possible kidney damage.
Drugs and toxins – can also cause kidney problems. Using large numbers of over-the-counter pain relievers for a long time may be harmful to the kidneys. Certain other medications, toxins, pesticides and “street” drugs such as heroin and crack can also cause kidney damage.
The Common Ingredient – and Solution!
In all of these possible causes, a common ingredient is that they all cause inflammation. One of the by-products of inflammation is a buildup of fibrin – a protein fiber that holds things together. Unfortunately, when there is too much of it, fibrin becomes scar tissue. It is this scar tissue that plugs the filtration and crimps the blood vessels in the kidney.
The good news is that we can dissolve this scar tissue, restoring the kidneys to near normal condition. We recommend bio-film dissolving enzymes that will dissolve the built-up scar tissue. Depending on how bad the scar tissue is, in 3-6 months most of it can be dissolved away.
For the inflammation causing the scar tissue, we recommend inflammation relieving nutrients that reduce inflammation without the side effects of drugs!
If there is also an infection connected to the kidney disease, causing the inflammation that brings the fibrin scarring, we can get rid of it also! Monolaurin is able to get kill all pathogen bacteria that can cause infections.
